Financial Responsibility and Accountability

By Ron Wallace

Candidate for City Council Member; City of Cathedral City

This information is provided by the candidate
The City must have sound financial plans to continue the success to date in the downtown area.
The downtown redevelopment project is a very exciting part of our city at this time and must move ahead on schedule. Our city can become the entertainment center of the valley if the project continues on schedule.

WE MUST NOT FORGET THE REST OF THE CITY WE LIVE IN!

STREET MAINTENANCE - Have you driven through the Cove
area recently?
CSD ASSESSMENT - Do you know the status of the lawsuit
seeking to repeal the CSD?
LEGAL COSTS - Why are we nearly $600,000. over budget?
SPEED LIMIT & STOP SIGNS - Why will the residents have
have to pay for these if
requested in a neighborhood?
CITY HALL OPENING PARTY - Did the taxpayers get any
benefit from the $35,000>
COMMUNICATIONS - Does City Hall listen when you speak?
CITY BUDGET - What happens if the CSD is repealed? Do
we have a plan?

I will not forget the rest of our city!!
