Political Philosophy for Thomas M "Tom" Layte

Candidate for
City Council Member; City of Banning

This information is provided by the candidate

I grew up in the state fondly known as "Taxachuesetts" (Massachuesetts). There were many issues that shaped my life during the 20 years that I lived there but none so profound as the Civil Rights Movement and the "Race to the moon." I beleive that both of these events combined exhibit what is best about America: That a free society, built on equality, that provides opportunity to all, can achieve greatness. It is this spirit of teamwork and mutual respect that I believe is needed in Banning. I will bring it to the city council chambers when elected.
