Pay back time

By James E. "Jim" Wronski

Candidate for Member, City Council; City of Orange

This information is provided by the candidate
After living in Orange for over 25 years, I've decided to give something back to the city.
Running for city council is my way of paying back the City of Orange for what it's given me. I raised my family here and enjoy a peaceful residence in a non-descript track home.

I am not funding this campaign with any money. I think it's kind of funny to see candidates spend 10's of thousands of dollars to win an office that pays little more than $600 per month. It makes me wonder what "other" benefits are sought by these candidates.

I don't intend to make this a second career or use this position as a stepping stone to higher elected political positions.

One term looks interesting. Two terms are a possibility. After that it's time to let someone else help run the city. Give me the chance to pay back what living in this wonderful city has given me and my family.
