  • I am adamantly opposed to an airport at El Toro and will continue in my leadership role to work relentlessly to stop the airport.
  • Development in communities east of Mission Viejo is burdening our streets. I have required developers to fund key intersection improvements(1999).
  • Maintaining a strong economic base is critical. My approval of new retail businesses has added millions in sales revenues to the city's general fund.
