Full Biography for Chris Lowe

Candidate for
Member, City Council; City of Placentia

Chris Lowe has lived in Placentia for over 20 years. He was educated in Placentia schools, including Kraemer Junior High and Valencia High School where he founded the Valencia Interact Club. He attended California State University, Fullerton, and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Public Administration.

While at CSUF, Chris served as Associated Students President for an unprecedented two terms, and was appointed by Governor Wilson to the CSU Board of Trustees. While on the Board, Chris represented over 300,000 students, and simultaneously served as a statewide education commissioner.

Chris worked for Governor Wilson in Sacramento as a Business, Transportation and Housing Advisor before he was promoted to Orange County Representative. Prior to his position with the state, Chris worked for the City of Placentia where he gained local government experience.

Chris is extremely active in the community with activities, including: Placentia Cultural Arts Commission, Placentia Boys and Girls Club Board of Directors, Orange County Marine Institute Board of Directors, and the Red Cross. Chris has also been a J.U.S.A. Soccer Coach, and a D.A.R.E. Speaker, and was named Rotary Citizen of the Month.

Chris currently works for a commercial real estate development company in Irvine, and continues to be very active in trying to make Placentia an even more pleasant place to live!
