LAHTINEN FOR ANAHEIM

Decisions which must be made in the next few years regarding Anaheim's future must be based on effects on the entire city.

  • All areas of the city should share the proceeds of new developments in the Resort Area and Sportstown.

  • New housing developments must be monitored carefully to avoid a repeat of the high density mistakes of the past.

  • Neighborhood improvement and community policing efforts which are now underway must be continued to bring a sense of pride back to residents of all parts of Anaheim.

I will institute an "Open Door Policy" to improve the public exchange of ideas as your Councilmember and support citizen participation in the Council decision making process.

Talk is cheap, and many council candidates will probably be saying some of the same things. You will have to decide who to believe. I have a record as an elected college trustee which I am proud of. I have earned the respect of the other North Orange County Community College District Trustees. I have demonstrated my ability to work with others to be a problem solver - a trait which has not been evident for some Anaheim Council members.

Please Vote for Lahtinen for Anaheim.
