Candidate for
Member, City Council; City of Anaheim

This information is provided by the candidate

PROTECTING ANAHEIM TAXPAYERS

Lucille Kring is an Anaheim businesswoman, and knows first hand how high taxes and government red tape can drive jobs out of our community. She is committed to keeping our local economy strong by cutting taxes and making city government friendly to job creators.

Lucille will oppose all tax increases as our next Council Member. She opposed the City Council's recent $7 million utility tax increase. As our next Council Member, she will make one of her first actions an attempt to repeal this tax increase.

Lucille thinks there are too many special interest deals at City Hall, with taxpayers paying the bill for corporate welfare. She will put a stop to corporate welfare and put the taxpayers first.

Because of her commitment to protecting Anaheim taxpayers and businesses, Lucille Kring is endorsed by the Anaheim Chamber of Commerce PAC.

MAKING ANAHEIM NEIGHBORHOODS SAFE

Lucille Kring knows that the first priority of government is public safety. She will ensure that our police and fire departments have the resources they need to do their job.

Lucille supported the plan to station an INS Officer in the Anaheim City Jail, so illegal immigrants who commit crimes are deported rather than released. She supports full implementation of community policing, so citizeins and business owners can help police make our community crime and gang free. She supports trying violent juvenile criminals as adults.

Because of her work to make Anaheim neighborhoods safe, Lucille Kring is endorsed by the Anaheim Police Officers PAC.

SERVING OUR ANAHEIM COMMUNITY

Lucille Kring believes that it is important for citizens to get involved in their community to make it a better place to live. That is why she has served in a number of community organizations, including:

  • Board of Directors -- Anaheim Chamber of Commerce
  • Graduate -- Leadership Anaheim
  • Vice President -- American Cancer Society, North Orange County Unit
  • Fundraising Committees -- Muscular Dystrophy Association, Orange County Chapter
  • Religious Education Teacher -- St. Columban's Church
  • Paint Your Heart Out Anaheim
  • Numerous Anaheim Neighborhood Cleanups
