Financially Strong but...

By Harold Kaufman

Candidate for Member, City Council; City of Dana Point

This information is provided by the candidate
Our City is in great financial shape. Streets, sidewalks and parks are in good repair.

Our Council is in disrepair

The Council must be able to debate all issues rationally and in a civil manner.

We must address quality of life issues such as special district consolidation, clean ocean water, harbor revitalization, the headlands, Capo By The Sea, open space, trees for Capistrano Beach and other environmental issues and most importantly, the El Toro airport.

We must re-establish our volunteer network by reviving citizen commissions. We must reinstitute the community grant program, help our seniors and children and treat our professional staff more humanely and fairly.

My wife Michele, a businesswoman at ARCO, and I hope you will reelect me on November 3rd.

I ask that you vote for Harold Kaufman, Councilman, City of Dana Point.
