Candidate for Member, City Council; City of Huntington Beach

This information is provided by the candidate
My goals, priorities, and experience.
In return for your vote, I shall continue to dedicate my energy, experience, and education to create a better Huntington Beach. Almost thirty years of civic involvement have given me the experience necessary to understand your needs and to be effective in finding timely practical solutions.

I've represented you on several county, regional, state and federal commissions, committees, and conference panels. President George Bush honored me with the coveted Theodore Roosevelt Conservation Award.

I share your conviction that public safety be our top priority. Other high priorities are a new senior citizen center, youth sports facilities, and protection of our priceless coastal resources. We must encourage business growth and high technology industrial growth.

As your Councilman, I offer you the analytical skills of a scientist, the communication skills of a college educator, the proven experience of a Councilman, the desire for peaceful conflict resolution of a WWII overseas veteran, and the determination of a home owner and parent continually trying to improve the quality of life in Huntington Beach.

There is more work to be done. I ask for your vote. Thank you!
