I have had the privilege of serving as City Council Member for the last four years. It has been a great hornor for me. I have always tried to be upfront and open in all of my dealings with people. I love Newport Beach and care about its past, present and future. Its unique character and quality of life must be preserved. Some major critical areas of concentration I intend to pursue:
1. Continue a strong police department for public safety.
2. Make El Toro International Airport a reality.
3. Seek City Council concurrence on design criteria for facades, landscaping and signs in older parts of town.
4. Improve and budget for all aspect of infrastructure.
5. Complete the water management plan for Newport Harbor, Back Bay and San Diego Creek Watershed, in its entirety.
6. Provide a conservative fiscal approach to budgeting.

I have tried to be a good listener and to work with all constituents. My continuous goal is to improve the quality of life for all of the citizens in Newport Beach. I believe in finding good solutions that balance all of the needs economically, environmentally and practically. I would appreciate your continued support and vote.
