Neighborhood Schools

By Robert C "Bob" Fisler

Candidate for Governing Board Member; Fullerton School District

This information is provided by the candidate
I advocate neighborhood schools emphasizing Mathematics, English, Science and the Arts.
1. Neighborhood schools emphasizing basics as they now do serving their community with the help and cooperation of their PTA's and their elected School Site Councils, is the best answer to many of our school problems today.

2. Insist that teachers be given support to do what they do best: TEACH!

3. A teaching environment, where healthy and well-fed children can learn and feel safe, is of utmost importance.

4. Test scores are but a single indicator of a youngster's ability and achievement.

5. Fullerton School District test results must always be taken very seriously and all might show improvement.
