I believe in...

  • being positive and looking for the good in all people and situations.

  • family values, hard work, honesty, integrity and respect for others.

  • less government, less bureaucracy and less waste.

  • not accepting campaign contributions from any source. In this way, the public can be sure that I will be totally committed to serving THEIR NEEDS AND INTERESTS. The public will be the only SPECIAL INTEREST GROUP that will have my complete attention.

  • the theory that less taxes creates more prosperity.

  • working hard to keep Fountain Valley "A NICE PLACE TO LIVE" for future generations.

  • the premise that the first priority of an elected official is PUBLIC SAFETY. Therefore, I have supported Fire and Police Services by adding additional police to protect neighborhoods and doubling the number of paramedics on duty. I also voted for the Police Motorcycle Program.

As a result, crime has been reduced in Fountain Valley by 16.3% in 1996...17% in 1997.
