I have been a life-long resident of Western Fresno County for the past forty-three years. During the latter years, I have committed my time to serve and improve the educational system in District One. I have devoted fourteen years as a school board member, and continue to be involved. Because of this valuable experience I have gained, I believe and feel that I understand the community make up, and it's special educational needs and expectations. I have personally gone through the Mendota, Tranquility High School, and West Hills College educational systems, and have served two school districts in the capacity of Board Trustee and President.

    1979 to present, U.S. Postal Service.

  • Community Activities Mendota Boxing Club, Treasurer. One of the originators of the Mendota Pop Warner program, Coach. 19th Congressional District Hispanic Advisory Council, Congressman George P. Radanovich.

    7 years, Tranquility High School Board of Trustees. Served as President and Vice-president.
    7 years, Mendota Unified School Board of Trustees. Served as President and Vice-president.
    9 years, State CSBA Hispanic Caucus. Served as President, Past-president, and Vice-president.

    CSBA Delegated Assembly, representing Fresno, Madera, and Kings Counties.
