As a registered nurse for 34 years, I have seen many facets of health care ranging from the evolution of MediCare to DRG's to managed care. Working at the local level has enabled me to become active at the state level by participating with the District trade Organization and helping to enact favorable health legislation so that district community hospitals can stay viable. In the small town of Reedley, people are caring towards one another. I hope to contimue this philosphy by sustaining my seat on the hospital Board of Directors. |
