Biographical Highlights

Currently serving as the Vice President of the Orange County Board of Education , and a member of the Legislative Committee for the California County Boards of Education Associations.
  • A Former Senior Special Agent with the United States Department of Justice for thirty years in the following Criminal Enforcement Divisions: the U.S. Border Patrol in Arizona and California as a Border Patrol Inspector/Agent (1967 to 1991); the Los Angels INS District Field Office Investigations Branch with operational assignments in all Criminal Investigation Sections, such as the Criminal Fraud Unit, the Anti-Smuggling Unit, the Criminal/Immoral/Subversive Unit, the Area Control Jail/Prison Unit and several other criminal enforcement units (1971 to 1983; the 1984 Multi Agency Law Enfoprcement Terrorism Task Force that was primarily responsible for the Security of the 1984 Olympics in Los Angeles, California (1983 to 1984); the INS Western Regional Office Management Investigation Division in San Pedro and Laguna Niguel, California (1984 to 1986); and the United States Attorney General/Organized Crime and Racketeering Section with direct assignment to the Los Angeles and Las Vegas U.S. Attorney's Offices (1986 to 1996). Elected Member of the Board or Directors for the Justice Federal Credit Union in Southern California for the past eight years.
  • Past District Commissioner and Adult Leader of the Boy Scouts of America: Troop 316 at Calvary Chapel in Costa Mesa, California since 1981, and member of the Orange County Boys' Scouts Council, Urban Emphasis Program since 1997.
  • Appointed Judge for the Volunteer Center of tGreater Orange County 1996 "Spirit of Volunteerism" Awards.
  • Member of the American Legion for the past twenty six years; Former Commissioner to the California Boys State Commission.
