Office Description: Governor Duties: As the state's chief executive officer, oversees most state departments and agencies and appoints judges. Proposes new laws and approves or vetoes legislation. Prepares and submits annual state budget. Responsible for mobilizing and directing state resources during emergencies. excerpted from the California Secretary of State's Voter Information Guide As Governor, the primary focus connected to the above responsibilities would be to restore the basic rights of "WE The People". These rights are clearly defined by both the U.S. and State Constitutions. It is the right of the people to decide what choices to make on all the issues as long as it does not go against those listed in our Constitution such as the right to bear arms. Freedom from forced income tax would be at the top of the list of priorities. Once that is addressed many of our problems will disappear on their own. My emphasis would providing education to our juror's so they will know the law concerning peoples rights, especially in regards to the income tax.
