Protection of Religious Freedoms

By Edward "ED" Mayerhofer

Candidate for United States Representative; District 48

This information is provided by the candidate
Our First Amendment to the Constitution of the United States of America says "Congress shall make no laws respecting the establishment of religion, or prohibit the free exercise thereof...."
If elected I will make sure that our religious freedoms remain intact according to the first amendment.
I would like to organize citizen groups in my district and ask other congressmen to do the same. These groups would consist of religious leaders of different religions who would be responsible for keeping me informed of issues that are important to there congregations and laws that exist or may be pending that would effect them.
The only way to truly represent the people is to listen to what they have to say.
If you vote for me I promise to do the above and more to protect everyones right to free religious expression.
