I am a conservative who believes deeply that our country in Lincoln's words-is mankinds last best hope. No other country in the world offers as much opportunity to its citizens as Amercia does, but we must be eternally vigilant to be sure that we are always the land of the free and the home of the brave. I am very concerned about America in the late 20th century. We seem to have lost our way in terms of our values, our standards and our civility. Young people especially, may not appreciate all the sacrifices that previous Americans have endured so that we could be secure and prosperous today.

Clearly our educational system is in serious trouble and that's what motivates me to run for this office. Politicians and politics do not have a high regard these days but if the good people do not serve who then? I think we all have an obligation to give something back to this great country of ours.
