Proposition 209 has been found constitutional. We can still help disadvantaged minorities by focusing on those disadvanges rather than their minority status.
Prop. 226: a Threat to Democracy
Prop. 226, which would require unions to obtain written permission from members to spend funds for political objectives, is more than an "anti-worker" initiative. It is a threat to democracy itself.
Democracy, it's your best bargain
Public financing of election campaigns will not only serve the interests of the public better than the current system, it will be much less expensive as well.
