I strongly believe in using "three strikes and you're out" to lock up repeat violent offenders; jailing men who batter women ; getting gang members off the streets; the death penalty for convicted killers who deserve it; and 5/10/life for criminals who use a gun in the commission of a crime.

I have seen the great cost suffered by our community and our children with the ever increasing availability of drugs on the steets and in our schools. Drug dealers should be jailed for longer periods of time.

Frivolous lawsuits cost our economy a tremendous amount every year. Those who file these cases must face a financial penalty when they lose. Costs to the prevailing party must be enforced.

Sexual predators must be separated from our communities along with those who batter women, abuse children, or inflict financial scams on the elderly.

In the increasingly politicized atmosphere surrounding the courts, strong and independent judges are vital. I have the professional and life experience to make the tough calls without bending to the external pressures.
