- Restore public confidence by pressing for more openness in how the public's business is done by broader (including the Internet) and more regular publishing of financial information.
- Overhaul the county's accounting and control systems. The county's systems are extremely bureaucratic and centralized. They need to be redesigned to ensure that all the county's employees are held accountable.
- Ensure that audits of all county officials, both elected and appointed continue to be performed every two years.
