Married in 1961 to Jesslyn Blakely (met wife in junior year of college and married after graduation) one son; three bothers & sister.

Education: Bachelor of Arts, Department of Economics from USC, with academic scholarship; post graduate business school candidate at USC taking mostly accounting courses at night; J D (with honors) from Southwestern University School of Law; passed CPA exam during same year passed bar exam. Community Activity: As president and director of Tustin Ranch Homeowner's Association (approximately 750 members) I have donated substantial time caring for the community park, pool, tennis court and green belt areas, dealing with members and setting policies beneficial to the members. As a member of board of directors of the Willows Foundation for many years (a nonprofit retirement residential community located in Leisure World area) I have donated my time setting policies, watching compliance with local, state and federal rules or statutes, improving the quality of the various services (providing meals, 24 hour security, landscaping, building improvements, etc) and working with administrative management. As chairman of board at a local religious institution I have worked with various committees to maintain and improve moral and spiritual values. As an arbitrator for Orange County Bar Association's Client Relations committee for many years, I have presided over many and various disputes between lawyers and their clients as to services rendered and attorney charges for the services. Swim Masters Athlete, Triathalete, and marathoner (doing the Rock n' Roll marathon in San Diego 19 days after the election).

Relevant Experience: 26 years practice of law; tried more than 100 jury trials; broad experience in almost every type of lawsuit (see partial list on flyer); I have appeared as an attorney of record in more than 300 superior court lawsuits over the past 22 years; I worked for two different District Attorney Offices (Tulare County & Santa Clara County); tried all kinds of felony jury trials; awarded Distinguished Service Award form Santa Clara District Attorney Office; acted as pro tem settlement judge in Superior Court on many occasions; judge pro tem in municipal court; expert witness in civil lawsuits; managing partner in successful Orange County law firm for several years; done appeal work from Superior and federal courts; appeared in more than 500 law and motion matters; hired and supervised attorneys with much more experience than my opponent.
