I am hard working, visionary, and competent with an excellent perspective of the city -- past, present and future. I have the time and dedication necessary to serve you as a Council member. My broad business background and volunteer service has given me the knowledge and experience to be an effective leader. I know how government works and the importance of listening to you and supporting your views with the Council.

    Juila's key issues are:

  • Quality of Life: Ensure quiet safe neighborhoods, a strong Public Safety Department, low cost city services, a state-of-the-art library, well-maintained parks, diversified recreation programs and improved senior services.
  • Moffett Federal Airfield: Maintain NASA's Federal stewardship, oppose air cargo and general aviation and ensure Sunnyvale provides leadership for Moffett's future .
  • Land Use and Transportation: Maintain Sunnyvale's suburban atmosphere and continue to preserve and incorporate economic vitality and community stability.
  • Housing: Preserve and protect single family low density neighborhoods and maintain zoning for mobile home parks.
  • Start council meetings earlier for improved public access.
  • Make our schools safer by promoting partnerships to combat violence, gangs and crime.
