"Fighting For Our City with Other Agencies"
Deborah Wilder

This information is provided by the candidate

Currently, Foster City is one of the best places to live on the Peninsula. Deborah Wilder wants to keep it that way. However, problems such as the increasing airline traffic over our City, and the increasing power outages and brownouts threaten our quality of life. Moreover, the residents of Foster City just spent thousands of dollars toward our new library, yet the County refuses to staff it.

Deborah Wilder will strive toward opening up avenues of communication with the Airport, P.G.&E., as well as other agencies that impact our City. Deborah Wilder will also make sure that our City is not short changed in regional decisions that affect Foster City.

Deborah has a lifetime of experience negotiating with local, state, and federal agencies on behalf of her clients. Mrs. Wilder has even testified before both Congress and the State Legislature on important issues. Whether it means getting the County to fully staff our library and increase our book selection, or finding a way to get the airlines to comply with noise requirements, Deborah Wilder will bring her skills, experience, and a fresh perspective to the table, when she represents the residents of Foster City.
