I believe we can have economic development without destroying the coast. I also believe we must link land use with transportation and understand the impacts each one has on the other. I also feel too many decisions are made without a comprehensive understanding of the trade-offs to other areas. The coastside has reached its carrying capacity for its current infrastructure. We must proceed very carefully as infrastructure is improved to handle future growth needs.
