My emphasis is on the education of children, especially their curriculum and learning environment. While I will consider fiscal and administrative factors in making decisions, children come first where I’m concerned. I want to provide an environment where all families feel included, and where all children develop a love of learning and an appreciation of their talents. In order to meet this goal, we must support classroom teachers, truly meet the needs of young adolescents, build academics, connect the board with the community, and offer choice in public education.
